AMAHL AND THE NIGHT VISITORS by Giancarlo Menotti

THE BARBER OF SEVILLE by Gioacchino Rossini

Count Almaviva has fallen in love with pretty Rosina who is kept under lock and key by her crusty guardian Dr. Bartolo (who plans to marry her himself with the collusion of Don Basilio, a music master). The resourceful barber Figaro devises a number of schemes to unite the young lovers. Rossini’s popular comic masterpiece combines wit with sparkling melody for a gloriously happy evening in the theatre.
